Transfer from your hotel or the airport to the port of Iquitos and board a boat towards the beautiful Muyuna Lodge. After enjoying a typical regional lunch, we will take a walk to appreciate the variety of flora and fauna that this wonderful place offers. Return to the Lodge, where we will enjoy our delicious dinner. Then, we set off on a night boat trip to discover the fauna of the place such as caimans, night birds and mammals. Return to the lodge and overnight in the middle of the immense forest.
We will wake up with the sound of birds surrounded by the inmensity of the jungle. We begin this day with a boat trip to the Zapote lagoon where we will be able to observe different kind of birds. Then, we will continue to the Moena Lagoon, where sloths and monkeys are often seen. We will arrive to the Corriente lagoon, and have the possibility to try fishing some piranhas. Finally, we will take a night walk in search of tarantulas and huge frogs. Return to the lodge and overnight.
After breakfast, we will take our boat to the Amazon River in search of the pink dolphin, a very special kind of mammal, that unlike the gray dophin, it only lives on river water (fresh water). During the trip we will be able to observe the famous water plant Victoria Regia, the largest in the world. Return to the Lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, we will take a boat trip in search of the howler monkey and on the way visit the village of San Juan de Yanayacu. Return to the lodge for dinner, and take a night boat ride to listen to the forest at night.
In the morning, we will take our boat to the Casha Lagoon, a place with a very difficult access. Depending on the level of the river, we will walk or row while we delight ourselves with the views of the landscapes and different species of birds and monkeys. Return to the lodge for lunch and return to Iquitos. End of services to continue with other destinations or side trips.
