Upon arriving in the city, a host will pick you up at the international airport and take you to your assigned hotel.
Lima (150 m)
On this day, we will explore the fascinating Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will start with the Inca citadel of Pisac, with its terraces, observatories, and other structures that served as a regional control center.
Next, we will descend to the town to visit its traditional market and immerse ourselves in local customs.
Then, we will head to Urubamba for a delicious lunch and continue to the Ollantaytambo fortress, highlighting the Temple of the Sun and its enormous monoliths. We will conclude our day at the train station, departing for Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu village), where we will transfer you to your hotel.
Cusco (3300 m) – Pisac (2950 m) – Ollantaytambo (2800 m) – Aguas Calientes (2000 m)
After breakfast, we will depart by bus to Machu Picchu. We will explore the impressive Inca citadel with its neighborhoods, plazas, observatories, etc., built on a mountainside and revealed by Hiram Bingham in 1911.
We will enjoy a 2-hour guided tour to explore its most notable areas. Afterward, you will have free time to continue discovering or optionally hike up Huayna Picchu for panoramic views. We will return to Aguas Calientes and then travel by train to Poroy, where we will transfer you to your hotel.
Aguas Calientes (2000 m) – Machu Picchu (2400 m) – Poroy (3500 m) – Cusco (3350 m)
In the morning, we will head to the southern valley. We will start at Tipón, an amazing example of Inca hydraulic engineering with terraces and an active irrigation system.
Next, we will explore Pikillaqta, an ancient settlement with over 800 multifunctional structures, home to more than ten thousand people during the Wari era.
We will then continue to Andahuaylillas, renowned for its colonial temple with 17th and 18th-century decoration and murals, known as the Sistine Chapel of Cusco. Finally, we will return to Cusco after a day of discoveries in the fascinating Southern Valley.
Cusco (3350 m) – Tipón (3560 m) – Pikillaqta (3250 m) – Andahuaylillas (3150 m)
We will depart from the hotel at 4:30 am with our guide. Our first stop will be in Cusipata for a buffet breakfast. Along the way, we will admire llamas, alpacas, and their herders in colorful traditional clothing.
As we approach the summit, we will behold the majestic Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain (5036 m). Here, our guide will provide details about the orography, ecosystem, and the mountain's coloration phenomenon.
*For the Red Valley option, passengers will ascend more quickly with the guide’s expertise. Afterward, we will return to the vehicle and head to the restaurant for lunch. We will then return to Cusco.
Cusco (3350 m) – Checacupe (3446 m) – Pitumarca (3570 m) – Rainbow Mountain (5036 m) – Cusco
In the morning, we will explore the other part of the Sacred Valley. First, we will admire the majestic Urubamba mountain range and the snow-capped peaks of "La Verónica" (5682 m) and "Chikón" (5530 m).
Next, we will head to Moray, a unique archaeological site with enormous natural depressions used as agricultural terraces and irrigation channels, an advanced prototype of a greenhouse.
Afterward, we will visit the Salineras de Maras, with 4500 pools that collect salty water to produce granulated salt. We will return to Cusco at the end of the day.

At the designated time, you will be taken to the airport to catch your flight to Lima and then your international flight home.
