This day we will visit Lake Titicaca and its islands by boat, the excursion begins with the floating islands of the Uros, famous for its unique way of life, in this Aimara people build their houses on large reed rafts and moored by stakes that do not allow the islands to drift, the people who inhabit these islands live from fishing, handicrafts, hunting and collecting eggs that are sold in the city of Puno. In the morning we have breakfast with the families of Amantani, then we leave for the island of Taquile, we arrive at the port, from where we begin our walk to discover the island of Taquile, a stretch of 45 minutes, to reach the main square of the island of Taquile, its inhabitants live in a traditional way, a kind of communism where the property is private but the work is collective; about 300 people work in the community one day for themselves and others for the community. Taquile's self-sufficient life is developed according to the Inca principles of "no stealing, no lying and no loitering", customs that have been maintained for centuries. Este día por la mañana nos dirigimos hacia la ciudad del Cusco. El trayecto cruza la meseta del Collao donde haremos una parada en el poblado de Pucará (a 70 km), famosa por su artesanía de los populares “toritos de Pucará”. Más adelante nos detendremos en el límite de Puno – Cusco y divisamos camélidos sudamericanos. Continuando con el viaje llegaremos al centro arqueológico de Raqchi, santuario construido por el Inca Pachacutec en Honor del Dios Wiracocha. Por otra parte, la estructura tiene dos columnas laterales circulares, alrededor del templo hay varios edificios que alguna vez fueron casas y almacenes. Luego llegamos al poblado de Andahuaylillas, donde visitaremos la iglesia de San Pedro más conocida como la “Capilla Sixtina de América”, caracterizada por su riqueza y belleza artística. Finalmente, el traslado al hotel.
Mañana libre. Por la tarde los consagraremos con la visita a la antigua capital del imperio Inca y actual capital arqueológica de América; la visita comienza con la Catedral de Cusco, la cual se encuentra decorada el interior con muchos retablos en pan de oro al igual que sus cuadros que datan de la escuela cusqueña, luego el templo del sol, más conocido como Q’oricancha. Luego visitamos los sitios arqueológicos Incas, como son los complejos de Tambomachay, Puca Pucara, Q’enqo y el impresionante sitio de Sacsayhuamán; construida estratégicamente en una colina con vista a la ciudad del Cusco. Sus enormes muros de piedras fueron tallados y unidos con precisión de manera sorprendente. Algunas de estas piedras sobrepasan los 9 pies de altura y pesan más de 100 toneladas.
Este día visitamos el Valle Sagrado de los Incas, a orillas del río Vilcanota. La excursión comienza con la ciudadela Inca de Pisaq, con terrazas, fuentes, observatorios y un cementerio, el más grande de la región, este fue un punto de control y dominio de los Incas en el Valle Sagrado. Luego visitamos el mercado tradicional de Pisaq y conocer las costumbres de la gente y también de regatear con los vendedores sus artesanías; luego continuaremos hacia el corazón del Valle Sagrado de Urubamba, donde se tiene el almuerzo y luego salimos rumbo a la fortaleza de Ollantaytambo, situado en la colina que domina el pueblo, se destacan edificios como el Templo del Sol y sus gigantescos monolitos: el Mañaracay o Salón Real, el Incahuatana y los Baños de la Princesa. En la parte superior sobresale una fortaleza, con una serie de terrazas de piedra labrada, construida para vigilar el ingreso a esta parte del valle y protegerlo de posibles invasiones de los pueblos de la Selva.
Muy temprano salimos hacia la estación de tren, viajaremos en tren por una hora y 45 minutos hasta el Km 104 (Inicio de nuestra caminata). Empezamos a caminar cerca al Rio Vilcanota. Iniciando el camino veremos las ruinas de Chachabamba, un altar de piedra in-situ que sirvió para adorar al sol y las montañas, aun veneradas por la gente local. Después de visitar Chachabamba, continuaremos con una subida gradual entre nubes y con mucha vegetación. Después de caminar 3 horas, disfrutaremos de una bonita catarata, para luego llegar a las ruinas de Wiñaywayna. Apreciaremos la belleza de este lugar, complementado con la información de nuestro guía experto. Después de almorzar, pasaremos por muchos rasgos impresionantes como las escaleras de piedra, donde treparemos 60 escaleras antes de llegar a Inti Punku (“la puerta del sol”). Desde este punto, se puede contemplar y observar este lugar maravilloso. Luego descenderemos por 45 minutos hasta llegar a la parte del mirador famoso, desde aquí podrá observar la puesta del sol. Descenderemos al ingreso de Machupicchu donde abordaremos el bus a Aguas Calientes.
Este día después del desayuno nos dirigimos hacia la estación de bus y salir hacia Machupicchu y veremos lo espectacular que es la ciudadela de Machu Picchu, “viejo pico”, considerada como una joya de la arquitectura inca: con barrios plazas, casas, zonas agrícolas, caminos, observatorios, etc. Construido sobre uno de los flancos de la vieja montaña en medio de la vegetación semi-tropical. Fue construida sobre uno de los flancos de la vieja Montaña y descubierta el 24 Julio de 1911 por el explorador norteamericano Hiram Bingham. Se tiene la visita guiada por 2 horas, donde visitaremos los lugares más representativos de la ciudadela inca de Machupicchu. Terminada la visita, en opción podemos visitar la montaña de Huaynapicchu; desde donde se tiene hermosas vistas de Machu Picchu. Más tarde regresamos a Aguas Calientes y luego hacia la estación de tren para salir rumbo a Poroy y traslado hacia vuestro hotel.
Se tiene el día libre para conocer la ciudad.
Este día a la hora indicada se tiene el traslado al aeropuerto, donde tienen el vuelo con destino a Lima y donde mas tarde tienen el vuelo internacional de retorno.
