Breakfast. You will discover the beautiful neighborhood of Barranco during this 4-hour Gastronomic tour with your guide. You will visit a variety of restaurants and small businesses, where you will taste the most traditional local specialties. During the tour, you will make 8 stops, which have been carefully selected. You will taste 15 flavors of Peruvian fruits, drinks and dishes. In addition, you will learn how to prepare ceviche, lomo saltado and pisco sour. Immerse yourself with your guide in Peruvian history and culture, and as you will see, every bite has a story to tell! In the morning you will visit the emblematic places of the city and surroundings. Our visit begins with the viewpoint of "Carmen Alto" in this place we will observe the three tutelary volcanoes that surround the city of Arequipa. Then the district of Yanahuara to appreciate the portals built in ashlar. After breakfast, around 7:30 am, our mobility will pass by your hotel to start our trip to one of the deepest canyons in the world, taking the road to Yura, bordering the snowy Chachani towards Pampa Cañahuas (National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas) habitat of the beautiful South American camelids, the vicuñas; likewise we can appreciate a variety of migratory birds, among which are the flamingos. We will stop at the viewpoint of the volcanoes, which is also the highest area of the road (4,950 m.a.s.l.) from where we can appreciate a great part of the western mountain range, this place has a magnificent panorama of huge snow-capped volcanoes like the ampato (6,400m) and huallca huallca (6,025m). Then we will be arriving to Chivay and then to your hotel. Later in option you can go to the hot springs (37 °c) of "la calera" (optional, with cost).

This will be a magnificent day, since early in the morning you will go to the viewpoint of the condor's cross, where you can usually see flying the largest birds in the world, the condors that with their majestic flight will give you a fantastic and unforgettable spectacle. It will also offer a magnificent view of the canyon that looks spectacular in the morning hours. On the way back we will pass through villages such as Yanque, Coporaque and Achomas, villages that still maintain their traditions such as their typical costumes, customs and you will see that nothing has changed since the time of the Incas. Then we will stop in the town of Maca, where we will visit its beautiful church and its stone streets among other attractions, and then return to Chivay where we will have time for lunch. Then we continue our journey to Puno and to your hotel.

This day we will visit Lake Titicaca and its islands by boat, the excursion begins with the floating islands of the Uros, famous for its unique way of life, in this Aimara people build their houses on large reed rafts and moored by stakes that do not allow the islands to drift, the people who inhabit these islands live from fishing, handicrafts, hunting and collecting eggs that are sold in the city of Puno. Then continue to the island of Amantani, for after 45 minutes we reach our destination and continue with a 30 minute walk to reach the rural houses, where we will settle in typical rooms, then have lunch typical of the area and then we will have time to rest and explore more of the island, where we will observe the ceremonial centers of PACHAMAMA and PACHATATA; Also from this point you can see the Andes Mountains and Lake Titicaca in all its magnitude, finished the activity, you will go to the home of a local family where you will spend the night.

In the morning we have breakfast with the families in Amantani, then we leave for Taquile Island, we arrive at the port, from where we start our walk to discover the island of Taquile, a stretch for 45 minutes, to reach the main square of the island of Taquile, its inhabitants live in a traditional way, a kind of communism where property is private but the work is collective; about 300 people work in the community one day for themselves and others for the community. Taquile's life is self-sustainable and lives according to the Inca principles of "don't steal, don't lie, and don't be idle" customs that have been maintained for centuries. We will then enjoy a typical buffet lunch on the island, before heading to the port where our boat awaits us, which will take us back to Puno and then to your hotel.

This day in the morning we head towards the city of Cusco. The route crosses the Collao plateau where we will stop in the town of Pucara (70 km), famous for its craftsmanship of the popular "toritos de Pucara". Later we will stop at the border of Puno - Cusco and spot South American camelids. Continuing with the trip we will arrive at the archaeological center of Raqchi, a sanctuary built by the Inca Pachacutec in honor of the God Wiracocha. Moreover, the structure has two circular lateral columns, around the temple there are several buildings that were once houses and warehouses. Then we arrive to the town of Andahuaylillas, where we will visit the church of San Pedro better known as the "Sistine Chapel of America", characterized by its richness and artistic beauty. Finally, transfer to the hotel.

Free morning. In the afternoon we will visit the ancient capital of the Inca empire and current archaeological capital of America; the visit begins with the Cathedral of Cusco, which is decorated inside with many altarpieces in gold leaf as well as its paintings dating from the Cusco school, then the temple of the sun, better known as Q'oricancha. Then we visit the Inca archaeological sites, such as the complexes of Tambomachay, Puca Pucara, Q'enqo and the impressive site of Sacsayhuaman; strategically built on a hill overlooking the city of Cusco. Its enormous stone walls were carved and joined with amazing precision. Some of these stones exceed 9 feet in height and weigh more than 100 tons.

This day we visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas, on the banks of the Vilcanota River. The excursion begins with the Inca citadel of Pisaq, with terraces, fountains, observatories and a cemetery, the largest in the region, this was a point of control and dominion of the Incas in the Sacred Valley. Then we visit the traditional market of Pisaq and know the customs of the people and also to bargain with the vendors their handicrafts; then continue to the heart of the Sacred Valley of Urubamba, where we have lunch and then leave for the fortress of Ollantaytambo, located on the hill overlooking the town, buildings like the Temple of the Sun and its gigantic monoliths stand out: the Mañaracay or Royal Hall, the Incahuatana and the Princess Baths. At the top, a fortress stands out, with a series of carved stone terraces, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions of the people of the jungle.

Very early we leave to the train station, we will travel by train for an hour and 45 minutes to Km 104 (Start of our hike). We start walking near the Vilcanota River. On the way we will see the ruins of Chachabamba, an in-situ stone altar that served to worship the sun and the mountains, still venerated by the local people. After visiting Chachabamba, we will continue with a gradual climb through clouds and vegetation. After walking 3 hours, we will enjoy a beautiful waterfall, and then arrive at the ruins of Wiñaywayna. We will appreciate the beauty of this place, complemented with the information of our expert guide. After lunch, we will pass by many impressive features such as the stone stairs, where we will climb 60 stairs before arriving at Inti Punku ("the door of the sun"). From this point, you can contemplate and observe this wonderful place. Then we will descend for 45 minutes until we reach the part of the famous viewpoint, from here you can watch the sunset. We will descend to the entrance of Machupicchu where we will board the bus to Aguas Calientes.

This day after breakfast we head to the bus station and depart to Machu Picchu and see how spectacular is the citadel of Machu Picchu, "old peak", considered a jewel of Inca architecture: with neighborhood squares, houses, agricultural areas, roads, observatories, etc.. Built on one of the flanks of the old mountain in the middle of semi-tropical vegetation.
