This site also offers an impressive view of the Colca Canyon, particularly beautiful in the morning with the first rays of sunlight illuminating the valley. You will pass through Yanque, with panoramic views of imposing volcanoes such as Mirador de los Volcanes (4800 m) and Huallca Huallca (6025 m).
During the journey, you will traverse the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, home to wild vicuñas and picturesque pastoral villages like Salinas.
You will return to Chivay to rest and then, in the afternoon, depart for Arequipa, where you can relax and recharge.

Next, we will visit the historic Santa Catalina Monastery, a citadel founded in 1579, and explore the Plaza de Armas, featuring the Basilica of Arequipa with its elegant neoclassical style and the Church of the Society of Jesus.
