Join us on a journey through the history of Lima, from pre-Hispanic times to the modern era. We start early by touring the Intihuatana Park on the Miraflores boardwalk, with a view of the Pacific Ocean. Then we head to the modern districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, passing by Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Inca ceremonial temple.
Next, we visit the Historic Center of Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Convento de Santo Domingo, home to the relics of Peruvian saints. We end the day at the Larco Museum, famous for its collection of gold, silver, and erotic ceramics. Return to the hotel.
Today, our private vehicle will pick you up to visit the archaeological sites of Caral and Huacho. First, we will arrive at the city of Vegueta. Then, we will proceed to the Caral citadel, located in the Supe Valley at 350 meters above sea level. Caral, covering 66 hectares, includes both public and residential structures. Religious festivals with renovations and rituals were held here.
Afterward, we will take a tour with an impressive panoramic view of the Albuferas de Medio Mundo, which extends over 7 kilometers, while we observe migratory birds arriving from various parts of the world. Next, we will head to the city of Huacho for a tour of its main square and its iconic church. Finally, we will return to your hotel in Lima.
