Upon arriving in Lima, a host will give you a warm welcome, pick you up at the airport, and take you to your hotel.
Lima (150 m)
In the morning, you will board your flight to Arequipa. Upon arrival, we will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, we will explore the city and its surroundings, starting with the Carmen Alto viewpoint to admire the Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu volcanoes. Next, we will visit Yanahuara to see the sillar portals and the Santa Catalina Monastery.
Finally, we will reach the Plaza de Armas to view the Minor Basilica and the Church of the Society of Jesus.
Optionally, you can visit the Andean Sanctuary Museum, which displays artifacts from pre-Inca and Inca times, including the Juanita mummy, known as the "Ice Maiden."
Lima (50 m) - Arequipa (2330 m)
We will start early with a visit to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, where you can often see majestic condors soaring and enjoy an unforgettable view of the impressive canyon.
On the way back, we will pass through the picturesque towns of Yanque, Coporaque, and Achoma, which have preserved their Inca traditions, including traditional clothing and customs.
In the town of Maca, we will explore its charming church and cobblestone streets. We will then return to Chivay for lunch and continue to Puno, where you will be transferred to your hotel, ending our day filled with natural and cultural wonders.
Chivay (3600 m) - Cruz del Cóndor (3800 m) - Chivay - Puno (3850 m)
In the morning, we will depart for Cusco, crossing the Altiplano Plateau. Our first stop will be Pucará, famous for its colorful and emblematic "Pucará bulls" crafts.
Next, we will cross the La Raya Pass, where we can admire the landscapes and typical highland fauna. We will continue to Raqchi, an ancient pre-Inca religious site, to explore its impressive temple and structures.
In Andahuaylillas, we will marvel at the Church of San Pedro, dubbed the "Sistine Chapel of America" for its magnificent decoration. Finally, we will head to our hotel in Cusco.
Puno (3850 m) - La Raya Pass (4350 m) – Cusco (3330 m)
You will have the morning free. In the afternoon, we will enjoy the beauty of the imperial city, starting with the Cusco Cathedral, with its magnificently decorated interior. We will then proceed to Qoricancha, or the Temple of the Sun, the most important site from the Inca era, where ceremonies were held in honor of the Sun God, and today is one of the sites where the Inti Raymi (Festival of the Sun) is celebrated.
Next, we will visit the archaeological sites of Tambomachay, Puca Pucara, Q'enqo, and Sacsayhuamán, which impresses with its large construction of perfectly fitting massive stones. Finally, we will return to Cusco.
Cusco (3330 m) - Sacsayhuamán (3700 m) - Cusco
Today we will explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas, starting with the Inca citadel of Pisac, known for its terraces, fountains, and observatories.
We will then descend to the town to visit the traditional Pisac market, where we will discover local customs, gastronomy, and crafts. Afterward, we will travel to Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch.
We will continue to the fortress of Ollantaytambo, which features notable constructions such as the Temple of the Sun and its gigantic monoliths. Finally, we will head to the train station to depart for Aguas Calientes, where you will be transferred to your hotel.
Cusco (3300 m) - Pisac (2950 m) - Ollantaytambo (2800 m) - Aguas Calientes (2000 m)
After breakfast today, we will head to the bus station to visit Machu Picchu, one of the 7 Wonders of the World.
The journey takes about 20 minutes, and upon arrival, we will marvel at the magnificent Inca citadel, considered an architectural gem.
Our guided tour will last 2 hours, during which we will explore the most representative areas. Afterward, we will have free time to continue exploring and have the option to visit Huayna Picchu Mountain for stunning views. In the afternoon, we will return to Aguas Calientes and take the train to Ollantaytambo, followed by transportation to Cusco. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
