Day 1

In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to the terminal to take the tourist bus towards the city of Puno. Along the way, we will stop in the town of Andahuaylillas to visit the Church of San Pedro, also known as the "Sistine Chapel of America," renowned for its artistic richness and beauty. Continuing the journey, we will head to the archaeological site of Raqchi, a sanctuary built by the Inca Pachacútec in honor of the god “Wiracocha.”

Our tour will cross the Collao Plateau, and we will make a stop in the town of Pucará, famous for its crafts, particularly the popular “toritos de Pucará.” Later, we will stop at the Puno-Cusco border, where we can observe South American camelids. Finally, we will arrive in the city of Puno.

Day 2

Boat Ride on Lake Titicaca

Puno - Uros Island - Taquile Island - Puno

Today we will explore Lake Titicaca and its islands. We will start with the Uros floating islands, known for their unique lifestyle using totora (aquatic plant) in their houses, rafts, and crafts.

Next, we will head to Taquile Island, inhabited by ancestral weavers. After a walk to the main square, we will learn about their traditional community life, based on the Inca principles of "do not steal, do not lie, and do not be idle," customs that have been maintained for centuries. From the heights of Taquile, we will enjoy panoramic views of the lake, Puno Bay, Bolivia, and the Altiplano—a reward for our efforts. In the afternoon, we will return to Puno.
