In the month of March the Tinkachi is celebrated, which is a traditional activity that since ancient times has as its main objective to give an offering to mother earth. This is used in respect to all the resources that nature offers us in benefit, including the gratitude to the same fact of knowing and enjoying the Fortress of Chimpa.

To the rhythm of chants, sounds of ancient carnival, dances that represent the punishment to those who have negative attitudes, typical costumes, serpentine game, face painting and with the delight of traditional food, this festivity is enjoyed. The same, which brings together people from different communities, with the participation of local authorities, entire families and visitors who share unique moments that strengthen the union of customs.
