Experience Andean culture at the Inhabitants' Homes through activities that enrich and teach about our ancient Incan knowledge, which we have preserved over time and passed down from generation to generation, and which we intend to transmit to tourists.

There are various activities you can participate in such as: craft workshops like weaving and ceramics, you will collaborate in agricultural tasks and explore nature with guided llama treks.

Each of the cultural activities leads us to learn about local and traditional stories, thus, you gain unique, safe, and accessible experiences that deeply connect with the community, promoting a respectful understanding of Andean life.

Traditional Textile Demonstration

Experience the millennia-old art handed down from our Inca ancestors, Andean textiles. During your visit, the ladies will perform a detailed demonstration, as local artisans they will teach you ancient weaving and dyeing techniques with natural dyes, providing you with a unique view of cultural traditions and the meaning behind each design.

And even how they embody each image in each of the garments they weave, it is said to be a way to showcase their way of life.

Andean Gastronomy: From the Rocks to the Table

This activity will allow you to savor each dish from the region, for this we will gather plants from the garden, in some cases the ladies already have them ready, the tubers will also give a special flavor to the meals. You will learn to cook ancestral recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation, also having nutritional value.

Let yourself be carried away by the sounds of Andean music played live by local musicians. This activity allows you to experience the richness of the music and understand its importance in celebrating and preserving Andean culture.

And you will live it when they are around the campfire, as the community musicians will sing and dance, among other activities.

Night Campfire and Legends

You will gather around a campfire to listen to ancient Andean legends narrated by the community elders. This magical experience is perfect for understanding the oral tradition and the spiritual and mythological richness of the local culture.
