ROYAL CORDILLERA TREK

Departure from the hotel at 08:00 hrs. in our private vehicle to the village of Tuni, where our team of muleteers will be waiting for us. Here is where your trek begins. Hike to the base camp of Condoriri. Overnight at the camp.

We leave Condoriri, leave our camp behind and continue our hike at the foot of the Colmillo Negro to the Jallayko pass (5,025M). Then we head to the beautiful Jistaña valley, before climbing to the Tillipata pass (5,000M). From there we will have impressive views of a large number of mountain lakes, it will be the reward for your efforts. Descent to the Wichu Khota Lagoon, where the camp is located at the foot of Maria Lluco (5,522M). Overnight in camp.

Our hike will take us between the high altitude lakes to the old Santa Fe mine camp. We take a small detour up to a hill overlooking the fields and from this point we will have impressive views to admire once again the surrounding lakes. Then we gradually climb up to the camp, surrounded by mountains Imilla Apacheta, Maria Lluco and Huayna Potosi (6,088M). The view is breathtaking. For the more courageous, you can extend the hike to the glacier lake Huayna Potosi. The trail is an old water channel made of stone on one side of the mountain, now dry, this place offers an impressive view of the surrounding landscape (duration round trip 02 hours). We will meet the pack animals and load the equipment for the last day of trekking. By mid-morning we will arrive at the Milluni pass (5,000M). The valley of the same name offers beautiful scenery. We will go around the Huayna Potosi mountain (left side), before reaching a valley that will take us to the refuge. This particular place, the streams literally plunge into the Yungas region, green and tropical. It is also the end of our hike. Return to the city of La Paz.
