This trip will allow you to discover the main places that are the hallmark of Peru. It starts from the capital city, Lima, the white city of Arequipa and its Colca Canyon; one of the deepest in the world; Lake Titicaca, the highest in the world and its traditionalist islands that will give us a glimpse of the life of the Incas. Finally, we will arrive at the ancient capital of the Inca empire, the city of Cusco.

Its valuable collection is composed of more than 10,000 pieces of Mochica, Chimu and other pre-Inca civilizations. In the morning we will depart by bus to Paracas along the southern Panamerican Highway along the Pacific coast. Upon arrival we will transfer to the bay of Paracas, where we will board our boat for the tour. We have the boat excursion to the Ballestas Islands, where you can observe Otarids, pelicans, penguins and other seabirds. On the way we will appreciate a figure of El Candelabro, engraved on the side of a hill, is a geoglyph of rock formation eroded by the wind and the sea. At the end we continue our trip to Ica and head to the Huacachina Lagoon, an oasis in the desert where we will spend the night. Free afternoon with the option of buggy or sandboarding in the dunes. This day after breakfast we leave for Nazca, where we will visit the Necropolis of Chauchilla; Pre-Columbian Necropolis, the only place in Peru where we can discover millenary tombs full of mummies that have allowed us to reconstruct the history, the environment, the daily life, the uses and customs of this civilization swallowed by the sands of the Peruvian desert. Then, you will have the option to fly over the famous "Nazca lines"; they appear as a dense network of geometric and zoomorphic figures that reach between 15 to 300 meters in length, and certain lines up to 10 km; these are only visible from the sky. In the afternoon, transfer to the bus terminal to take the bus to the city of Arequipa; upon arrival in the evening, pick up and transfer from the bus terminal to the hotel.
In the morning we have organized the visit of the emblematic places of the city and surroundings. Our visit begins with the viewpoint of "Carmen Alto" in this place we will observe the three tutelary volcanoes that surround the city of Arequipa. Then the district of Yanahuara to appreciate the portals built in ashlar. After breakfast, around 7:30 am, our mobility will pass by your hotel to start our trip to one of the deepest canyons in the world, taking the road to Yura, bordering the snowy Chachani towards Pampa Cañahuas (National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas) habitat of the beautiful South American camelids, the vicuñas; likewise we can appreciate a variety of migratory birds, among which are the flamingos. We will stop at the viewpoint of the volcanoes, which is also the highest area of the road (4,950 m.a.s.l.) from where we can appreciate a great part of the western mountain range, this place has a magnificent panorama of huge snow-capped volcanoes like the ampato (6,400m) and huallca huallca (6,025m). Then we will be arriving to Chivay and then to your hotel. Later in option you can go to the hot springs (37 °c) of "la calera" (optional, with cost).
This will be a magnificent day, since early in the morning you will go to the viewpoint of the condor's cross, where you can usually see flying the largest birds in the world, the condors that with their majestic flight will give you a fantastic and unforgettable spectacle. It will also offer a magnificent view of the canyon that looks spectacular in the morning hours. On the way back we will pass through villages such as Yanque, Coporaque and Achomas, villages that still maintain their traditions such as their typical costumes, customs and you will see that nothing has changed since the time of the Incas. Then we will stop in the town of Maca, where we will visit its beautiful church and its stone streets among other attractions, and then return to Chivay where we will have time for lunch. Then we continue our journey to Puno and to your hotel.
This day we will visit Lake Titicaca and its islands by boat, the excursion begins with the floating islands of the Uros, famous for its unique way of life, in this Aymara people build their houses on large reed rafts. Then the island of Taquile, a stretch for 45 minutes, to reach the main square, where its inhabitants live in a traditional way, a kind of communism where the property is private but the work is collective; about 300 people work in the community one day for themselves and others for the community. Life in Taquile is self-sustainable and lives according to the Inca principles of "do not steal, do not lie, and do not be idle", customs that have been maintained for centuries. Then we will enjoy a typical lunch on the island, and then we will go to the port where our boat awaits us, which will take us back to Puno.
This day in the morning we head towards the city of Cusco. The route crosses the Collao plateau where we will stop in the town of Pucara (70 km), famous for its craftsmanship of the popular "toritos de Pucara". Later we will stop at the border of Puno - Cusco and spot South American camelids. Continuing with the trip we will arrive at the archaeological center of Raqchi, a sanctuary built by the Inca Pachacutec in honor of the God Wiracocha. Moreover, the structure has two circular lateral columns, around the temple there are several buildings that were once houses and warehouses. Then we arrive to the town of Andahuaylillas, where we will visit the church of San Pedro better known as the "Sistine Chapel of America", characterized by its richness and artistic beauty. Finally, transfer to the hotel.
Free morning. In the afternoon we will visit the ancient capital of the Inca empire and current archaeological capital of America; the visit begins with the Cathedral of Cusco, which is decorated inside with many altarpieces in gold leaf as well as its paintings dating from the Cusco school, then the temple of the sun, better known as Q'oricancha. Then we visit the Inca archaeological sites, such as the complexes of Tambomachay, Puca Pucara, Q'enqo and the impressive site of Sacsayhuaman; strategically built on a hill overlooking the city of Cusco. Its enormous stone walls were carved and joined with amazing precision. Some of these stones exceed 9 feet in height and weigh more than 100 tons.
Very early we leave to Cusipata-Paucarpata; where we have breakfast. Then we continue for 50 min. to the control, from where we start the hike. The hike will last approximately 2 hours until we reach Vinicunca or Montaña de Colores 5020 masl. On the way we will observe a large number of llamas and alpacas that are at the mercy of shepherds dressed in beautiful colorful costumes typical of the place; almost at the top we will observe the mountain range of Vinicunca (5020 m/16,466 ft.). Arriving at this point, our guide will explain about the orography, ecosystem and color of the mountain, to then take from another horizon the most beautiful pictures of the colorful mountain. After that, we continue to the Red Valley, the name is due to the special pigmentation of the earth that has a reddish color due to the abundant amount of mineral, this road will be more special because perhaps we will be one of the only groups on this route, we take the mobility and return to the city of Cusco.
This day we begin to explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas, on the banks of the Vilcanota River. The excursion begins with the Inca citadel of Pisaq, composed of terraces, fountains, observatories and a cemetery, the largest in the region, this was a point of control and dominion of the Incas in the Sacred Valley. After the guided tour we will go down to the village and we will go to the traditional market of Pisaq, there we will have the opportunity to discover the customs of the people and also to bargain with the sellers their handicrafts; then we will continue to the heart of the Sacred Valley of Urubamba, where we will have lunch and then we will go to the fortress of Ollantaytambo, located on the hill that dominates the town, buildings such as the Temple of the Sun and its gigantic monoliths stand out: the Mañaracay or Royal Hall, the Incahuatana and the Princess Baths. At the top, a fortress stands out, with a series of carved stone terraces, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions of the people of the jungle. Then we take the train to Aguas Calientes.
This day after breakfast we head towards the bus station and depart to Machupicchu and see how spectacular is the citadel of Machu Picchu, "old peak", considered a jewel of Inca architecture: with neighborhood squares, houses, agricultural areas, roads, observatories, etc.. Built on one of the flanks of the old mountain in the middle of semi-tropical vegetation. It was built on one of the flanks of the old mountain and discovered on July 24, 1911 by the North American explorer Hiram Bingham. We will have a guided tour for 2 hours, where we will visit the most representative places of the Inca citadel of Machupicchu. After the visit, we have free time to continue exploring and optionally we can visit the mountain of Huaynapicchu; from where you have beautiful views of Machu Picchu. Later we return to Aguas Calientes and then we go to the train station to go to Poroy and then transfer to your hotel.
This day at the indicated time you will be transferred to the airport, where you will have the flight to Lima and where later you will have the international flight back.
