You’ll see how they transform these fibers into shawls, blankets, and ponchos, each reflecting their life and nature. At the end, you’ll have the chance to create your own bracelet using these Andean patterns.

2. Connect with Andean Soil

Immerse yourself in the essence of Andean rural life with an experience that deeply connects you to the land. "Las Hormiguitas" invite you to their fields to show you their traditional farming methods that feed their families and respect the environment.
We’ll start the day with an offering to Pachamama, asking Mother Earth for a bountiful harvest. This ceremony highlights their deep spiritual connection with the land. Then, you’ll join them in planting or weeding using traditional tools.
After working in the field, you’ll enjoy a well-deserved rest and chicha, an ancestral Inca beverage, before returning to the host house.
If you want to participate in this authentic experience, contact us and reserve your spot.

3. Discover Andean Flavors in the Cooking Workshop

Dive into Andean gastronomy with a unique culinary experience. In this workshop, local moms will guide you in preparing authentic Chinchero traditional dishes using fresh produce from their gardens.
Together, we’ll learn to cook Pachamanca, an emblematic dish cooked in a special way with hot stones. We’ll make the oven with these stones, heat them until red, and then place the meats, potatoes, and vegetables, which cook slowly, absorbing an authentic and unique flavor.
The cooking process takes about 30 minutes, after which you can enjoy this delicious treat. You’ll also explore dishes made with quinoa, beans, potatoes, and corn, rich in nutrients and proteins, accompanied by fresh vegetables from their gardens. You’ll be part of preparing these dishes, learning about the ingredients and traditional techniques.
If you want to experience this rich culinary tradition, contact us and reserve your spot.

4. Trekking with Llamas on the Inca Trail
