"Yura, a paradise in Arequipa" is one of the most exciting destinations that the visitor can experience in this town, from its agricultural terraces of Yura Viejo, the waterfall of Corontorio, lime ovens, viewpoint of Coipata and even the route of the hot springs.

The latter is famous for the healing properties it contains for the benefit of the human body, the same that come from the Chachani volcano and each of them has its own attractive features.

To get to this destination you can take a bus or car that takes a little over an hour from the Buses Melgar bus stop and this as the last stop leaves you at the Hotel de Turistas de Yura, the main starting point to get to most of the wells of the hot springs that you will see below.

Zamácola Well

It is an interesting well, because it is one of the most recommended to visit, since it contains properties that serve to improve the nervous system, strengthen muscles and bones. This site was built by Edmundo Escomel, who has worked on studies of the properties of the greenish water in this area of 22 °C to 28 °C.

El Tigre Well

It is the oldest well of the Aguas Termales tour in Yura, it was created in 1824 by the Spaniard José Nodar y Nogueral. It has five small wells known as: El tigre, Unión de Agua, Vegeto, Tigrillo and Sepultura that are at your disposal for being recognized for their healing properties with a temperature that can reach up to 32 °C.

El Pozo el Tigre is located next to the Hotel de Turistas de Yura.

Tadeo Haenke Swimming Pool

It is the second oldest among the others, named after the German researcher Tadeo Haenke, has sulfurous-alkaline waters and has a larger and more comfortable space.

The Tadeo Haenke Swimming Pool is located a few minutes away from the Yura Tourist Hotel.

Pozo Fierro Viejo

It is of ferruginous waters with temperatures between 20 °C to 28 °C, has two pools with properties to relieve muscle pain and strengthen the body. But they are also contraindicated for people with diabetes and anemia.

Balneario de Quiscos

Yura offers you another spectacular destination, this is the Balneario de Quiscos, which presents a beautiful landscape, a destination that welcomes us with a waterfall and when you reach the meeting point you will enjoy its waters outdoors.

It is a thermal bath that will relax your body and mind, a spacious place that you can enjoy in the company of friends or family. You will have the option to set up your barbecue, play some recreational and sports games with the appreciation of the nature that surrounds you. Also, just a few steps from the spa you can visit a waterfall in the area.
