This special route can be experienced during the dates of the religious holy week and you will be part of each of the typical celebrations and customs.
The city of Cusco, its toponym was in Quechua Qosqo, which means center or navel. According to Inca mythology, in it converge the worlds below (Uku Pacha) with the visible world (Kay Pacha) and the upper world (Hanan Pacha). Thus, the city was and is called the navel of the world, in reference to the universe.
Cusco, a region with the most beautiful landscapes on the planet, crowned by six mountains over 6,000 meters above sea level, is the oldest city in the western hemisphere and the cradle of the Inca civilization. Recognized worldwide for the wonderful archaeological remains found, such as the citadel of Machupicchu.

From Mexico City (MEX), we will board our international flight to the city of Lima (PER). At the indicated time, after your arrival at Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, our staff will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.
In the morning, transfer to the airport to board the domestic flight to the ancient capital of the Inca empire and current archaeological capital of America; the city of Cusco, then we are scheduled to visit the Plaza de Armas, the market of San Pedro, its pedestrian streets. On the outskirts of the city we visit the Inca archaeological sites of Tambomachay, Puca Pucara, Q'enqo and the impressive Sacsayhuaman; its huge stone walls were carved and joined with precision, some of these stones exceed 9 feet high and weigh more than 100 tons.
This day we begin to explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas, on the banks of the Vilcanota River. We are picked up from the hotel and depart by tourist bus to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will pass through landscapes of the area with stops at viewpoints and arrive at the Inca citadel of Pisac to visit it and know its typical traditional market. The trip will take us to the imposing fortress of Ollantaytambo. Finally we will go to the train station to take the tourist train to the town of Aguas Calientes.
This day we will visit one of the 07 Wonders of the World, the Historic Sanctuary of Machupicchu, in the morning we will take the tourist bus to the gateway to the citadel and then begin the guided tour of its main archaeological sites such as neighborhoods, squares, houses, agricultural areas, passages, observatories and platforms with explanations about its functionality. After the guided circuit we return to the town of Aguas Calientes to take the train to Poroy and upon arrival we will pick you up at the train station and take you to your hotel in the city of Cusco.
In the morning we start the walk of Moray; archaeological group unique in its kind, it is about depressions and were used to build agricultural terraces with irrigation canals; it is a prototype of greenhouse or biological experimental station quite advanced for its time. Then we arrive to the salt mines of Maras; there are about 3000 small wells, during the dry season the wells are filled with salt water that emanates from a natural spring located at the top of the wells and obtain by processes the granulated salt. Finally we return to Cusco.
Very early in the morning we will leave towards the beautiful mountain of seven colors or also called Vinicunca. On the way we stop for breakfast buffet, then we continue to the access control and start the hike, until we reach over 5020 meters high. At the top our guide will give us explanations of the geological formation and we will have time to take the best pictures with the spectacular view that nature will give us. Then we descend to the camp for lunch and finally return to the city of Cusco.
In the morning, transfer to the airport to board the domestic flight back to Lima. Panoramic tour of the colonial and modern part of the city. In the historic center we will make a panoramic tour of the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Government Palace and the Torre Tagle Palace transporting you to the past just by stepping on one of its steps. We will visit the Convent of Santo Domingo; one of the most important convents of the XVII century and we will know the history and relics of the Peruvian saints Santa Rosa de Lima, San Martin de Porres. Finally we arrive to the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, two of the most beautiful and exclusive neighborhoods of the capital.
