On this day, you will board your flight to Cusco at the specified time. Upon arrival, a host will welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel where you can settle in and rest.
In the afternoon, we will set out to explore the city starting with the Main Square, the Cathedral, the historic streets, and the most attractive sites. We will then continue with the visit to the 4 ruins located outside of Cusco, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara, Q’enqo, and the marvelous Sacsayhuamán, known for its construction of enormous stones that fit together perfectly.
Cusco (10 991 feet) – Sacsayhuaman (12 139 feet)
This day we will visit Machu Picchu, the wonderful Inca citadel, one of the 7 wonders of the modern world.
We will start the tour in the morning heading to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where we will participate in the guided tour where they will explain to us about the important enclosures, their operation, and construction.
Finally, we will return to Aguas Calientes, where you will take the train back to Poroy, where you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel.
Machu Picchu (7,874 feet)
The journey will begin with a trip to Mollepata, where we will have breakfast. Then, we will head towards Soraypampa and start the uphill hike while enjoying the landscapes. Upon reaching the top, we will be able to observe the turquoise waters of the lagoon where we will participate in an offering to the Apus, using coca leaves with the guidance of the guide. Later, we will have time for photos and to appreciate the turquoise lagoon and the snow-capped mountains Humantay and Salkantay.
Cusco (10,991 feet) - Soraypampa (12,631 feet) - Laguna Humantay (13,779 feet)
The day will begin with a journey to Chinchero, a village with vibrant Inca customs; then we will continue to the Moray Laboratory, a spectacular construction of terraces with microclimates on each level for agricultural purposes; afterwards, we will head to the Maras Salt Mines, which enchant with their hundreds of white pools where they produce the famous Maras salt. Finally, we return to Cusco.
Cusco (10,991 feet) – Chinchero (12,345 feet) - Maras (11,070 feet) - Moray (11,100 feet)
On this day, we depart very early for the Rainbow Mountain or Vinicunca, making a stop along the way for a buffet breakfast. Then, we head to the starting point, where we will embark on an uphill hike while enjoying the scenery.
Upon reaching the summit, we will be able to observe the Rainbow Mountain, where the guide will explain the geology of the area and the reason for its coloring. For the return journey, we will descend along the path known as the Red Valley, and once at the bottom, we will take the car back to Cusco.
Cusco (10,991 feet) - Vinicunca Mountain (16,469 feet)
The day will begin with your transfer to the airport bound for Lima. Upon your arrival, we will be waiting for you and transfer you to your hotel in the Miraflores district.
We will start the tour of Lima, visiting its tourist attractions, the Plaza de Armas, the historic center, the Cathedral, the Government Palace, and the Torre Tagle Palace, the San Francisco Convent, and finally we will go to the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, very beautiful and exclusive districts of the city.
Cusco (10,991 feet) - Lima (492 feet)
On this day, according to your flight schedule, you will have time to enjoy on your own. Our transportation will pick you up to take you to the airport for your international flight back to your country.

You can make a reservation in advance using our online registration form. We do not require any deposit for this pre-booking.
To confirm your reservation, you will need to send us an email (ventascusco8@terandes.com) with a copy of your passport valid for at least 6 months after your trip and fill out the registration form that we will send you upon your confirmation.
Next, you will receive an invoice via email within 48 hours. We ask for a 30% advance payment of the trip price upon receiving the invoice. The remainder will be due up to 30 days before departure.
Citizens of the European Union entering Peru do not need a visa for tourist stays of less than 90 days, but they must have a valid passport for at least 6 months* from the date of entry into the country and a round-trip plane ticket.
It is the traveler's responsibility to verify with the relevant authorities (embassies, consulates) that they have the appropriate documents to travel to the visited country. Andes Lands is not responsible for problems related to inadequate travel documents.

The means of transportation vary according to the itinerary and the size of the group. The means of transportation are varied: motorized canoes, vans, boats and, most of the time, your own bus. The brand of vehicle used by our operator is Mercedes.
Meals not included: Allow around 10 EUR/person per meal.
Tipping: While not obligatory, it is customary in South America.
Our tips:
Currency: It is not necessary to exchange currency before the trip. You will have the opportunity to exchange euros for local currency from the first day, and then several times during the tour. Your tour guide will indicate where to do it and how much money to carry.
ATM withdrawals: If your card allows it, you can also withdraw money from ATMs in major cities. Inquire with your bank about the commission for withdrawing money abroad. Some banks have special agreements that allow you to withdraw money without fees at associated banks.
Warning: Do not rely solely on cash withdrawals, as ATMs are only regularly replenished in major cities and there is a limit on the amount you can withdraw.
Payment by credit card: It is not as common in South America as in Europe. Prefer cash in local currency.
